First Piano Recital

2010
Toy piano came to me in rough shape. Made a new top and added a bottom piece for strength also re-glued every joint. 
Top has tempered glass.
Swirl design is mirror, ball chain, transparent yellow glass over gold paint. Root beer colored tile with  bronze streaks for the background.
Green bamboo beads. Tinted grout with metallic green paint.

It's 8 1/2" x 17" x 12" High
The cherubs image is a paper graphic that was already on the piano. I put a clear finish over itThat really helped deepen the colors.

It was accepted to the Mayors Art Show (correlates with Eugene Celebration) at the Jacobs Gallery. August 26 – October 16, 2010  
I was one of 49 out of 269 entries. Didn't win anything.
